My Weekend in Style

Just a quick look at my outfits I wore this weekend, including today.

Friday

Went to my sister's graduation which was the perfect time for me to pull out my Zara caftan I mentioned some time ago. Belted it to create a waistline and also to make it short; it fit just above my knee and I like my dresses short. ;-)

Saturday

Had to go to work and after spending ALL day out on Friday I wasn't in the mood to be fussy about what I was wearing. Just threw on a maxi I had gotten from Old Navy last summer (I think), H&M denim vest and some Old Navy flip-flops. Huge mistake! NYC sidewalks and flip-flops equalled foot soles as black as my dress. =/

Sunday

And today I was pretty much decked in H&M: hat, button-up and shorts. My shoes are from Sam Edelman's SE Boutique line. Pretty cost effective but I'll never buy a pair again. The strap on the back kept falling down even after I added an extra hole; the elastic is very weak it seems. Thinking about taking them to a shoemaker to remove the back strap.
